Smoke damage restoration is no laughing matter. Get it check out asap. IF you need to refinish your floors go with some thing like harmonics flooring.

Clean it up
Clean up your smoke damage and if you do it right your problems should be over. Don't be confused though, because if there was actual structural damage you should get a professional in there to make sure the roof isn't going to fall on you and hurt you later on. It's kinda like after someone gets in a wreck, they say they feel fine but then 6 months later they realize they aren't.

This is just the information I was looking for. My kitchen recently sustained smoke damage and I have been looking for ways to repair some of the damage. I will have to show this to my husband and see what he thinks. We should probably start making some calls to see if there is any service that can come over and help us.
